Thank you for visiting our website. You will find information here about our application for a change in the permitted land use for our family farm which is located at the southeast corner of Rt. 12 and Old McHenry Road in unincorporated Lake County, Illinois.

We are the third generation of our family to own this property. Since our grandfather bought the farm there have been tremendous changes in the area. We have transitioned from a completely rural environment to one of the most desirable suburban areas in Chicagoland.

At this point we are working to establish the broad parameters of the permitted land uses for our farm. There is no development being presented – we just want to work with the County to establish the high standards that will govern any future developer.

Before doing anything else, please take a quick look at the site plan. You will see that we propose to use less than ½ of our land for development of any kind. This will naturally be commercial development so there will be absolutely no negative impacts of the school system. The green space will be forever open for the enjoyment of our neighbors those passing by our land.

The application is necessarily long and detailed. If you do take the time to study all of this information you will see that we are committed to setting the stage for a future project that will meet extremely high standards.
